Honorary Professor at the University of Lausanne

As honorary Professor at the University of Lausanne, Guy Mustaki taught corporate law, company law and corporate governance for many years. His expertise in corporate governance is based on both extensive professional experience as an attorney and administrator and sustained academic reflection, enabling him to offer his clients valuable support in analysing and improving their governance structures. He regularly shares his experience at training courses and professional meetings, thereby contributing to the dissemination of best practices in this field. He is frequently involved in the establishment of legal and commercial structures and in disputes between companies or shareholders. Thanks to his training, teaching and practice, he is also able to advise and assist his clients in all areas relating to commercial relations and business law, whether between partners or before judicial or administrative authorities.

Active in the field of business acquisitions, sales and restructuring, he works with numerous professionals in the sector on tax, financial and accounting matters. He advises a number of family-owned companies on governance and internal relations, as well as relations with third parties. He also handles disputes and issues relating to partners and shareholders, whether concerning their professional or private assets. He acts both as an sollicitor and as an arbitrator.

Mr Guy Mustaki holds a doctorate (1989) and a barrister’s certificate (1991) and has been a partner at CBWM Avocats since 1991. He participates in numerous conferences and publishes many scientific works and articles in the field of commercial and corporate law. He is Chairman and member of the boards of directors of several listed and unlisted companies, which allows him to usefully complement his knowledge with a practical approach to the issues at hand. Mr Mustaki is also a member of several foundation and advisory boards.
