Alexia Tissières graduated in 2019 from the University of Lausanne with a Bachelor’s degree in Swiss Law (magna cum laude) and obtained a two-languages Master of Law of the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne in 2021 (magna cum laude).
Her Master’s thesis, entitled “< L’état de nécessité climatique > : entre application concrète, herméneutique et abduction “, was published in the collective work “Droit pénal de l’environnement” directed by Professors Anne-Christine Favre, Anne-Christine Fornage and atty. Loic Parein.
After a first experience of counsel for the Fédération romande des consommateurs, Alexia Tissières worked, throughout her master’s studies, as ad hoc clerk, first at the Labor court in Lausanne and then at the criminal chamber and the civil chamber of the court of the district of Lausanne.
Alexia Tissières started her lawyer traineeship at CBWM Avocats in March 2022 and passed her bar exam in July 2024.
