Background history and values

Our firm has flourished to become what it is today, under the guidance of its four founding partners:

  • François Chaudet, since 1974, Honorary Professor at the University;
  • Benoît Bovay, since 1987, Professor at the University ;
  • Rémy Wyler, since 1990, Professor at the University ;
  • Guy Mustaki, since 1991, Professor at the University.

Our four founding partners have opted for a strategy of controlled growth by establishing a reputation for excellence in their respective areas of specialization. Over the years, the partnership has extended in order to reinforce existing skills, to expand the range of services and to ensure the continuity of our activity from a forward-looking perspective.

Each partner is distinguished by his/her high level of expertise, gained by teaching or by completing one or more additional training program(s) relating to his/her specialized practice (certified Specialist SBA, Certificate of advanced studies, …).

Our firm is currently composed of 11 partners and around 10 associates and trainees.

Every day ability to understand our clients’ requirements, the quality of our service, our close relationship with our clients as well as our solution driven advice are but a few of our core values.

We take particular care to ensure we remain at the forefront of legal development. This is achieved through continuing education events that we attend or present, publications as well as the academic role taken on by many of us who teach at the University, as well as by our network of international contacts.

Several partners of our firm have published books that are recognized in the fields of corporate law, labour law and inheritance law.

True to a long standing tradition, we have trained many law graduates to become attorneys, many of which have subsequently remained in the firm.

Our aim is to offer specialized and personalized services with a high level of expertise, in a relationship in which you know your discussion partner.

Our skills: mutually supportive and proven services

The quality of services and legal advice available from our firm is the result of a strategy of constant attention. Whether within the context of litigation proceedings before civil, criminal, administrative, enforcement/bankruptcy and arbitration courts or legal (extrajudicial) advice, we assist and represent, in several languages, Swiss and foreign clients, either individuals or companies operating in the services and industry, as well as local authorities and non-profit organizations. Our firm notably drafts and analyses contracts decisive in the economic life and advises clients in the context of negotiations.
