Florian Chaudet joined CBWM & Partners in 2002. He is active in two main areas: family office, including family or estate planning, regionally or internationally, as well as commercial law and business counsel. Florian Chaudet has a long-standing practice in negotiation and has successfully completed the specialist training organised by the Swiss Bar Association in collaboration with an academic course director; he is also active in the field of mediation and can act either as a mediator or as counsel to a client involved in a mediation process, in either French or English.
After working as an ad hoc clerk of the Court and as Assistant at Lausanne university, and obtaining his Ph.D. and his Bar exam in 2001, Mr Florian Chaudet spent a year in England to improve his practice of legal English, including contract drafting in the banking field. Mr Florian Chaudet was a member and secretary of the committee of an International School between 2004 and 2010 and of a foundation board (music school) from 2012 to 2016 ; he was also director of a company active in wine business between 2005 and 2021. He is presently chair of a society aimed at Vaud canton lakes shoreline protection and of the SBA Specialized commission “Certified Specialist Family Law”. He is as well member of an association committee aiming at a mountain resort preservation.
