Ph.D. IN LAW
Hugo Porchet assists clients before the courts and administrative authorities, mainly in matters of public and private construction law, real estate law and administrative law in general.
Hugo Porchet studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2011 and a Master’s degree in Law in 2013.
He continued his academic career by writing a doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. P.-H. Steinauer on the legacy. During this period, he worked as a doctoral assistant at the Chair of Civil Law II at the University of Fribourg, which allowed him to perfect his knowledge in the field of civil law and more particularly in real rights and inheritance law.
In 2021 Hugo Porchet was awerded Ph.D in Law by the Faculty of Law of the University of Fribourg for his thesis. The latter was rewarded with the Prize successio in 2022.
Before completing his lawyer traineeship in Lausanne in 2023, Hugo Porchet worked for a year as a trainee clerk at the First Public Law Division of the Federal Supreme Court.
In 2023, Hugo Porchet successfully passed his bar examination. The same year, he joined CBWM & Partners as an associate.
